Present: John Fair, Charles Hollar, Chip Hassey, Art Sterling, Ralph Veppert, Todd Miller, Bob Redfield

Absent: David Hartley, Dean Boerger, Bryan Brown, John Enyart.

I  Approval of Minutes ExCom 17MARCH2011, two corrections: Change of meeting date, 21APRIL to 27APRIL, and time adjournment to 1830hrs. Motion to approve Art Sterling, second Ralph Veppert, and motion approved.
II Treasurer Report: An audit was presented to the committee, which was approved and a balance of $7,674.95 in the Chapter’s account.
III. Committee Report(s); NONE
Iv Topics for Discussion                                   -Introductions:  NONE
    -GMM 24MAY2011 at Villa Malano,          1830hrs

  Speaker will beTAG Debra Ashenhurst.

Ralph Veppert will provide the BIO.
Chip Hassey will place the information  on “our” WEB site.

  Election of officers will also take place @ GMM dining-in.

   2nd Regional Meeting 12-14MAY2011, Indianapolis. President Hollar reported 3 Chapter members will be attending. Anyone else wishing to attend should contact President Hollar ASAP

  Motion on Expenses: After a brief discussion it was decided that the Chapter would agree to pay for hotel, mileage, and registration for 3 members. Motion made by Todd Miller, second Chip Hassey, motion passed..

  
  -Fund Raiser: Examples for fund raising, GOLF, LOTTERY, or perhaps something different. Different suggestions were presented . President Hollar would like the Chapter continue to think about different ideas. Will be discussed next month.

V.  Miscellaneous: President Hollar praised Member John Enyart for his providing the chapter with AUSA literature information holders to place in various locations. Todd Miller took two and Ralph Veppert took one.

VI.  Good and Welfare, Thoughts and Prayers to David Hartley’s son-in-law for speedy recovery.

  IN REMEMBRANCE

SGM(r) Robert  Smith passed away on 29 April. Robert was active in the Chapter and very active in the OSU AROTC Alumni Association. Bob had even established the Robert and Georgia ROTC Scholarship Fund which he took great pleasure in presenting over the last several years He will be missed.
